We believe that serving God and reaching out is a natural response for followers of Jesus. For over 120 years it has been the vision of our church to care, love and support our members and to be a faithful to witness to Jesus in the community and the world around us.

The Jesus and Me Club (JAM) for primary school children meets during Sunday Morning Service and aims to create a fun, friendly environment in which to increase the children’s knowledge of God through relevant biblical teaching, games and activity.

The Youth Group for young folks of secondary school age meets during the morning service and aims to increase their knowledge of God and understanding of the relevance of the Bible to their everyday lives in an informal way.

The Crèche for pre-school children also meets during the morning service and provides a safe environment for the children allowing parents distraction-free time in the church service.

Little Lambs meets on Friday mornings during school term time and provides an opportunity for children to hear bible stories, do craft work, sing and play in a fun way.

There is 1 House Group which meet fortnightly. The aim is to help Christian growth and commitment by bible study & discussion, prayer & fellowship and to reach those not yet committed to Jesus. More people are always welcome to join us and explore the Bible and find a place to ask questions and get an understanding of what it means to follow Jesus.

An informal group meets on Friday mornings during term time in the church hall.

The Abbeyhill Baptist Church Art Club has been running for well over 15 years and is a relaxing place where experienced and budding artists can come together and learn and develop their work and find support and friendship.   The club usually meets on Tuesday evenings but is currently having a break over December and January adn will resume in February.

Rendezvous meets on the first Wednesday of each month and is a drop in cafe open to everyone. Whether you belong to a church or not, it's an informal and relaxed time to meet together with other people from the area and enjoy a cuppa and good chat.
