At Abbeyhill we have a wonderful heritage of being involved in overseas mission.  We have great news to share about who Jesus is, what he has done for us and how he invites us to respond to him.

We believe that it is important to share this good news with those around us: in our families, with our friends, colleagues and our local community. But we also believe it is important to share the good news of Jesus with those in other countries.    So it is a great privilege to do this by sending and supporting different folks from our fellowship or known to us who are active in various parts of the world.  Here are a few organisations we support.

Local support

Bethany Christian Trust
Bethany Christian Trust supports 4,000 homeless and vulnerable people every year in Scotland to find, equip and maintain a home within their local community. Abbeyhill supports the work of Bethany Visit bethanychristiantrust.com for more info.

Try Praying
We participate in the Try Praying Project. This initiative is for people who are not religious and don't go to church but might want to try praying.
Download the app from your app store or visit trypraying.org for more information.

Edinburgh City Mission We work with Edinburgh City Mission by providing a Creative Workshop for local folks who have experienced homelessness.

Our Building is used by a number of organisations that help and enrich our local community. If you’d like to use our halls for your group, please get in touch with your enquiry.
